Are all of these on the same layer 2 segment or is there traffic crossing VLANs/subnets?
b
No. I have just over 5 vlans. All networks are tagged.
b
"No" is in response to which option? 😅
b
he forgets! Consider that my virtual machines are segregated into tagged vlans. 😄
b
I was asking mainly because if you are trying to direct traffic across VLANs, maybe your bottleneck could be your router, if your 100 GbE switch does not offer any layer 3 offloading to route between VLANs
b
No no. I have baremetal servers on this same switch and they deliver 10 times more than that. It's definitely not a router or a problem
Is there a possibility that the flannel is the problem?
b
how fast are the NICs dedicated to VM traffic?
b
I didn't understand
My Harvester cluster network has lacp on all node interfaces. I have 5 nodes, with a lacp of 50Gbps each. Does that answer you?
