03/07/2024, 5:14 PMI have been using VZ with virtiofs on my M1 machine for months to run integration tests and didn't have a problem. I just published the warning because we observed the issue on Linux while testing 1.13.0 RC1, and I found a Lima issue claiming the same for macOS.

03/07/2024, 5:15 PMI don't think there will be any differences in this regard between 1.12.0, 1.12.1, 1.12.2, and 1.12.3; they each have only very small patches that are not related to mount types.
