We are working on qualifying aurora 8.0. However, it will only be tested and supported with actively maintianed minor versions of rancher and k3s. You are on very old versions of both.

Thanks, I'm aware that the version we're running is rather old, but my preferences and business realities are different things 😕 That's why I was asking if there are issues to be expected, because it seems I have to move to MySQL 8 without upgrading Rancher first. This would be a much bigger project I'd have to acquire budget for.
