i have never tried this but i guess you could upload those disks into harvester and launch a vm by booting of the imported disks?
raw/qcow2 images will be imported and then you could use those images

there is no specific limit, eventually your vm's backing raw image / qcow image will be converted to a longhorn image and then booted from it.. https://docs.harvesterhci.io/v1.2/upload-image
