However I didn't get the chance to do an upgrade from 1.24 to 1.25 Instead we ended up spinning up a brand new cluster cause we had to shuffle some hardware

Hi Eric, Thanks for this information. I'm still trying to figure out the root cause of this behavior since the error msg isn't descriptive enough. I know of some psp deprecations and I do have some calico related psp resources in the cluster but not sure if this is causing the issue.
