Have you solved this? What other experiences have you had with vSphere 8? We're updating quite soon and I'm worried since it feels like Suse and Rancher have said nothing at all about vSphere 8 support.

In the official support matrix rancher 2.7 or 2.8 does not support vsphere8 yet.

Yeah, I know that, and there doesn't seem to be any announcement regarding vsphere 8. The issue is that our organization is upgrading to vsphere 8 in the next few months. That would leave us with no possibility to use Rancher and we'd have to migrate to a different solution that would support vsphere 8.
