01/19/2024, 12:10 AMI got brave and switched to 9p with default settings. Wow - FAST. It does help with the time stamping issue that the "Clock skew detected" error represents, but I still get the git related error.
Running same container under Docker Desktop, and running the same "make clean all", I get neither error. Going to continue to poke at it - maybe the answer will become clear, but if anyone has ideas, I'm open to playing around a bit with this!

01/19/2024, 2:38 PMHad to fall back off of 9p - mounts stopped working (no errors, but also no files available in the mounts). So, back to where I was with skew, etc. Also, permissions would need adjusting under 9p - the way my docker-compose.yml file is set up, any files created in the container end up as root
