Hi @red-queen-31013, that'll be part of the upcoming Harvester 1.3 release: https://github.com/harvester/harvester/wiki/Roadmap
I don't think it may work properly in 1.2
r
@quick-sandwich-76600 hi, will it be included in the release ? I currently trying 1.3.0 dev version, so its not need to install this controller, right ?
q
Yes, the plan is to include it in 1.3 but I don't know if the current 1.3 dev releases have it already inside. Just make a quick check to see if you have a controller named "vm-dhcp-controller" ...
r
Btw, is there any ETA for 1.3 release ?
q
I don't know the exact date but it should be by late March.
r
ok, thanks. Only
harvester-network-controller-manager
is running there, also
IPPool
has
<http://crd.projectcalico.org/v1|crd.projectcalico.org/v1>
API version, it has to be probably replaced

Hi @red-queen-31013, The managed DHCP feature will be released along with Harvester v1.3.0 as an experimental add-on, just like rancher-vcluster in the previous release. That means you will need to add the add-on manifest from harvester/experimental-addons (it’s still WIP), and then enable the addon from the Harvester dashboard.
If you want to try it, you can install the chart directly from the repo. It should work on v1.2.1, but that’s not officially supported đŸ™‚
