We are experiencing an issue in one of the Rancher Downstream cluster where pods with a sidecar container (istio-proxy) not being able to run and throwing an error CreateContainerConfigError: “host IP unknown; known addresses: [{Hostname }]“. Upon executing ‘kubectl get nodes’ command, Internal and External IP of the nodes are not being shown and displaying as <none>. The same pod with istio-proxy sidecar containers are running fine without any issues on the nodes which displays the Internal and External IP information and when executed ‘kubectl get nodes’ command. Rancher UI displays the nodes IP address correctly and the status as active, also we are not able to ssh into node with rancher cli. Any support on this is much appreciated, Thanks.
