Since Harveser v1.2.0, Harvester already provides these storages as non-root disk for VMs, for disk image Harvester utilized Longhorn backing image. @dry-dress-24460, do you have more information to share? Thanks.

I have been informed that we are aware of the need for this, and that we have a plan to add support beyond our current level of support but that we have not yet committed to a definite date.
