All features haven’t been implemented in the new engine. Some available in v1.5. But, I believe that v1.6 is where all needed features of the old engine are in. And then whether it’s stable in v1.6 - I’m not sure. People from the project should say.

in the coming v1.6 https://github.com/longhorn/longhorn/issues/6229.

We are planning to launch some important features like snapshot and online rebuilding for v2 engine in v1.6. But it won’t be claimed as stable/GA in v1.6 or v1.7

So maybe end of year next year … we’ll see stable?
