just installing the base Rancher and rke2
so you can get to the login screen of rancher deployments

which template are you referencing?
I want to deploy a 3node RKE2 cluster ,
I wouldn't be able to use that as we are using ubuntu custom ami

not sure which AMI they're using but I'm sure you can just substitute out the AMI

we used this one https://github.com/rancherfederal/rke2-aws-tf, customised a bit to fit our needs though
but essentially this should work as a foundation
although we did not manage to bring up Rancher (web UI) with this setup , but 
rke2
cluster went well
