Hi Gylfi! Do you have some more info, Is it a downstream elemental cluster that is rebooted? And the ingress pod/s is on a separate worker node?
r
3 masters, 3 workers. Ingress is running only on workers. the master nodes vm was restarted. We are using Elemental Teal v1.2.2. Not sure about downstream or not. Please let me know if you need any more info.
w
Yes that does sound weird! Is it default network configuration? seems like some network component is running on the master rather than the nodes.
r
Sorry for the late response. Here is our config. Do you see anything out of the ordinary? We set an TLS alternative name but i removed it for privacy.
w
Hmm nothing out of the ordinary.. what are you running the hosts on (bare-metal/cloud)? And what loadbalancer are you using?
r
Running it on nutanix vms. we use f5 bigip for loadbalancing but not sure if we need to configure rancher to use the loadbalanced endpoint intead of one of the masters since its created in the rancher UI via terraform. I set the IP address of the load balanced endpoint for the nodes as alternative TLS name. should i configure it somewhere else?
