my guess is that when Rancher v2.7.6 was released, those were the “tested” OS’s for Rancher Provisioned RKE2 Clusters. The second link is just saying what OS that version of RKE2 is supported on. The RKE2 version that Rancher can run on and the RKE2 version that Rancher can deploy to a managed cluster has always been a bit of a confusing amount of things to keep straight in my head 🤷‍♂️
