10/02/2023, 9:01 PMThe nodes still need networking to talk to each other, even if they don't have public internet access. The data store (etcd) is the source of truth that informs kube-scheduler. If doing k3s, you can also use an external relational database (postgres, MariaDB, etc) instead of etcd for this
