Hey! K3d is specifically a development tool. While I guess it may work for tiny production setups, I wouldn't recommend it due to the limitations that the "in-docker" approach brings in.

You got the answer from the man himself @enough-lamp-31931 😄 … But, maybe try in the K3d designated channel next time 😄 …. --- And if you’re also interested in K3s in production. Yes you can totally do that and I would even recommend it.

My understanding is that you can't use K3D to hook together clusters on multiple machines at the same time, so it'd always be a single point of failure with K3D, which is where K3S installed directly on multiple machines would let you avoid that problem. Hence it's intrinsically not something for production.
