I'm following this because I'm curious as well. Currently I'm just using curl to login to the API and test a query to know when everything has fully started up after the installer reboots. There are other places to run commands during the install such as after_install_chroot_commands but I haven't found anything that I could set to run after everything was complete and the system was usable.

I haven't started any work on this quite yet but I'll post back here if I discover anything!
