Hi @bright-fireman-42144 are you looking for a deeper content for projects and products like Uyuni, SLE etc?
w
Presumably by SCC you mean downloading the SLES ISO and registering? If so, you could use the equivalent openSUSE Leap so SLES15 SP5 > Leap 15.5

yes, that is what I require. My daily driver is a Microsoft surface laptop with WSL2 and I have replaced docker desktop with rancher desktop and have even installed tumbleweed as the backing distro for rancher desktop (and also to become more familiar with zypper and yast/yast2. BTW: switching to tumbleweed instead of ubuntu 22.04 for some of the Rancher Academy helped with Microsoft's weird idea of hyper-v networking and exposing workloads outside of my laptop to register a harvester cluster using rancher manager on rancher desktop. I'm slooooowly trying to get fully assimilated into the SUSE family.

Gotcha, so from a content perspective we focused on all of SUSE products and projects. We just did a live event around SLE BCI and are going to incorporate that in to our container basics course. As for the name Rancher Academy it was a nod to the old Rancher Academy from back in the day, but we don't discriminate when it comes to our courses.

speaking of the SUSE-at-home. I just opened a feature request to truly make that available to 'at home' users not backed by a SUSE support contract. It's also frustrating seeing all of the ranchergovernment users showing examples using ubuntu, rocky or rhel instead of SUSE operating systems. Little things like openscsi for longhorn. Very little traction on cillium as a cni as well (perfect for home labs with l2 loadbalancing without the use of metallb).
c
Few things with this. 1. can you link here your feature request? 2. Why is RGS using other OS frustrating? I use other OS here as well to show cross compatibility.

I'd just like to play around with the big guys at home but staying within the SUSE family. Would love to be able to showcase my lab at home to customers and then showing how I have extended that to the CIVO cloud as a path to adopt SUSE licensing.
