You probably need to make the changes in the 90_custom.yaml and reboot the node to take effect. AFAIK the harvester.config is just the config that gets applied ones while installing but the 90_custom.yaml gets applied at every boot.

Thanks for clarifying this. There is any place where I can propose a MR for this on the documentation? I find it quite limited in some scenario like this one and I would love to extend it
