Hello @ancient-florist-59155 We just released the Reset feature on Staging last week (This requires both Staging versions of the elemental-operator and the Elemental Teal base image). Note that this is an opt-in feature, you have the option to enable it for all newly registered machines on a MachineRegistration level, or individually for each MachineInventory using the
<http://elemental.cattle.io/resettable|elemental.cattle.io/resettable>: "true"
annotation. Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, Thanks. is staging somehow a "channel" to activate?
f
a
cool, thanks willl ckeck. Well organised your guys!
so, basially it's this tag which appears in the non-stable staging URL and Image?
now I'm looking for the right OS base image
f
I'd rather go with the oci://registry.opensuse.org releases as described in the doc. You should also get an OS release channel with the latest staging version of Elemental Teal
For the base image in your SeedImage definition you may use:
<https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/isv:/Rancher:/Elemental:/Staging/containers/iso/elemental-teal.x86_64.iso>

Sure I go with the OCI registry, was just refering to the tags you mentioned, or did you refer to Registry Image tags
ok, will give it a try in the evening hours 😉

For the tags I'm not sure that Github and registry.opensuse.org are 100% synced, there may be some delay between a tag made on Github and the same version released on registry.opensuse.org
