RKE2 had this problem on CentOS 7 if firewalld was running even if all the ports were added. K3S supposedly works a bit better with it and doesn't have it listed as known incompatible. If you have firewalld or another active service (as opposed to just netfilter and a passive interface like iptables) then maybe try stopping the active service?
Past that there are some differences with new nftables stuff that sometimes needs to go back to a legacy iptables functionality and you should be able to find info about that in the faq or troubleshooting. Message above from Jase may have some ideas to troubleshoot in its conversation too.

I had to changed firewalld to use
iptables
as it's backend to get it working on OpenSUSE 15.5
