You might also want to be aware of https://kubernetes.io/releases/ , especially the end of life notes there. Also be aware that there's a big change between 1.24 & 1.25 with PSPs going away so migrating between those can break things. If you're coming from all the way on 1.20 you might want to consider if you want to incrementally upgrade in several tasks or look at doing a big move all at once from an old cluster to a new cluster.
