Do you know which VPN you're using in macOS (edit: I see that you mentioned Open VPN..)? I can see some issues previously reported with Netskope on macOS, but I'm not aware of any workarounds at the moment https://github.com/rancher-sandbox/rancher-desktop/issues/3346

The VPN client I'm using is Tunnelblick
