08/09/2023, 4:47 PMI don't believe it is possible to do this. Assuming you're on Linux or macOS, Rancher Desktop works by running docker, k8s etc inside a Linux VM. The distro we run for that VM is Alpine Linux, which is based on busybox. There are no alternative VMs unfortunately
