On macOS, Rancher Desktop runs docker inside a Linux VM. Is it possible that you're looking for filesystem events from macOS inside the Linux VM? I doubt that such events would be passed through to the Linux VM, and then to a container

It was working when I was using Docker Desktop I have to move away from it due to the licensing component. No sure if you'd know why FS events would be forwarded inside the container? What other alternative I could use?

IIRC the filesystem mounting works differently in Docker Desktop vs in Rancher Desktop. Let me ask around to see if we've run into this before
