Which Longhorn version do you use now? We have online expansion after v1.4. Before v1.4, we recommend that you scale down the workload before you expand your volume. And we do not support to shrink the volume. https://longhorn.io/docs/1.4.0/volumes-and-nodes/expansion/#prerequisite

I never upgraded because of the discussions in the past around not supporting some version of kubernetes. Microk8s is running 1.26.6
maybe I should at least use 1.4.0 not dev...
