Can you confirm that DNS works in pods that are running on hosts that don’t have a coredns replica running on them? Often times, the first sign of problems with inter-node CNI traffic being blocked or dropped is that DNS doesn’t work on some nodes.

I'll replicate the environment and check for that. Thanks for the suggestion!
