I would go with RKE2 in any case. Docker is not more supported by core Kubernetes and IMHO RKE1 is still maintained because a lot of customers still use it.

07/26/2023, 7:32 AMRancher doesn’t link extensively to K3s or RKE2 because they have their own projects and docs sites and stand on their own for the most part. Rancher will run on any Kubernetes distro, and our distros are suitable for any workload.
