Error loading shared library libreadline.so.8: Permission denied (needed by /usr/bin/entry)

this sounds like an issue with a security module blocking access to read the shared libraries. Are you running this with selinux enabled?

that is pretty unlikely to work, as the selinux policy for k3s won’t cover the paths that rootless k3s uses.
