during installation, you can login with the above credentials: rancher:rancher
or, press F1 or something like this and the login.. (as you might not have an IP assigned to server)
F1 or F12 I don’t remember which key was to enable the console..

yeah, the full image works, however not sustainable as we need to deploy a number nodes, pxeboot was preferred

we’ve installed Harvester using ipxe and it worked fine
*we did not used the Harvester IPXE examples, we built our own scripts which are a bit too complex..
maybe your 
harvester_config.yaml
file is broken..
you can check manually the config files from 
/etc/sysconfig/network/
systemctl status wickedd.service

we were using netboot.xyz to deploy
which i believe just pulls from the harvester github

ahh, i think that we also had some problems with netboot.xyz.. I think that they use an old ISO..
I don’t remember exactly what was the issue on our side..

ill check ISO version now
it appears to be using the v1.1.2
