There are still ongoing discussions about this. The current plan is that rancher-monitoring will stay as a standalone product for single cluster monitoring, and Opni will be the multi cluster solution. We will have a way to import data from rancher-monitoring into Opni.

Sounds good. The Opni YouTube presentation a few months ago by @limited-pizza-33551 referred to a Project Roadmap being available at url: https://github.com/orgs/rancher/projects/36. Is this something that is currently in the works?

Yes we do want to put together a roadmap for the next 6-9 months.
