Hmm, it should be fine (other than making sure you're on a new enough version of macOS, which we should have guards for). It might be useful to turn on debug logging (it's in the main window, under Troubleshooting), restart, and then look at

lima.log

when you click on Show Logs in the same screen?

Will do. Yeah on a new M1 MBP, so I should be good. I'll look at the debug logs and report if I can't solve anything there.
