Hello @gray-psychiatrist-7159. v1.4.2 will likely not be available in the Rancher Marketplace until sometime next week (the chart has been merged into the 2.7-dev branch of rancher/charts, but requires a few additional steps before it is available to Rancher v2.7 clusters). Unfortunately, I don't have an exact date to give you.

Ok, thank you for your feedback @faint-sunset-36608 🙂 So, if I really want to try a dev-branch release in Rancher 2.7, all I have to do is to

git clone <https://git.rancher.io/charts>

and manualy update the deployed Longhorn Helm release from my laptop with something like this ?

🙂 I think that will probably work, but I don't recommend it! In my experience, mixing install/upgrade methods with Rancher/Longhorn is not a good idea and can cause quirks that are difficult to resolve (and not always immediately apparent).

I can confirm it is working 🙌 Upgrade successfully passed from 1.4.1 stable to 1.4.2 dev-2.7 branch. No worry about the stability, this is a sandbox cluster, not Production 🙂 I was try this update just to test the fix #5558 about RWX volume were stuck at detaching status when host down. The fix works like a charm by the way 😉
