Creating RKE2 custom cluster from Rancher UI 2.7.1, and when I select Cloud Provider to External, I notice that Cloud Provider Config line opens up (screen shot below). If I leave that blank cluster creation does not work. TBH I am not sure what to put there? Is this where I can say "--disable-cloud-controller"?
Why I want to set Cloud provider to External is because after cluster is created I want to go into Apps and deploy vSphere CPI/CSI driver. If I select vSphere Cloud Provider on cluster creation screen, then the credentials for vSphere are visible to anyone who can view cluster config yaml file.

I responded to your other comment on this. Set is to false in the yaml. then I highly recommend installing vSPhere CSI / CPI from upstream. While the rancher one is okay, its much easier to do with the upstream from vSphere directly.

I have circled around this (vSphere CPI/CSI) couple of times... something else tends to come up with more pressing needs and I lose track

This time I am creating documentation with screen shots hopefully that will save time and will be more helpful down the road 🤞
