So I know there have been some others that have maybe mentioned it before, but have any others ran into issues with using the network tunnel and allowed image list? It seems that as soon as I enable allowed images, I can no longer connect to docker registries on Windows. Is this a known issue?

Hi folks, when I try running multiple containers, occasionally docker (via moby/rancher desktop) totally hangs (all running containers freeze & become totally unresponsive; even new terminal window cannot do basic operations like

docker ps

or

docker image ls

- it just hangs until CTRL+C) . Sometimes even restarting rancher doesn’t fix and I have to reboot the whole computer. My first theory was that there was a problem with mounting the same host volume to multiple containers in read-write mode, so I made sure that a volume is only getting mounted with write capability on a single container. But that didn’t fix it. Not giving these containers any

--cap-add

or weird stuff like that. Also went ahead and purged a good chunk of exited (but not yet deleted) containers as a general cleanup step, but still same problem. Any ideas?

Hey folks! I’m using Rancher Desktop and I had it mostly working except some issues with nerdctl that I attempted to solve with the workaround of setting

guiApplications=false

in .wslconfig. Suddenly now Rancher Desktop won’t start. Even when I remove .wslconfig entirely I get nothing. The UI doesn’t start at all. I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling rancher desktop and still I get nothing. Are there any log files or the like I can access?

Hello, is there an easy way to update the Traefik settings? I needed to add

to the manifest, and didn’t see an easy way to do that. I ended up editing the traefik.yaml by mounting the VM

Any ideas why proxies configured in /.docker/config.json are not picked up by nerdctl? It works with dockerd but having trouble when swapping to containerd behind a proxy. nerdctl is acting flakey with my proxy, it'll do a nerdctl build using a particular base image, but nerdctl pull on the same base image will time out due to it not using the proxy i think. I've configured the proxy both as an export in rc.conf as well as in .docker/config.json

Has anyone had issues with volume mounts in wsl? Seems like anytime rancher tries to map a directory from windows to wsl to kubernetes, it meltsdown.

Hi, when creating a Persistent Volume Claim, and you want that PVC to be accessible by more than one pod, you would create the PVC with an accessModes: of - ReadWriteMany, but when I attempt to create that PVC I get the error message saying that only 'ReadWriteOnce' is supported, can anyone provide any further information or a possible solution?

Or is it that ReadWriteOnce suffices because RancherDesktop only creates one node?

I am getting this error in images.log while trying to load the images section. I think I am running the docker though. How can I fix this?
