Hi, where are the rancher and/or rancher desktop configurations stored on windows? I'm asking because I feel like factory reset doesn't actually remove all the old stuff and I get some strange behavior on something I assume is going back to clean installation

Microsoft says you can run SQL 2022 on Docker Desktop on the Mac. Should this work with Rancher Desktop? I tried it and get this error. (Running on M1, containerd, RD 1.7.0) I did run

Is it possible for Rancher Desktop (Windows WSL2) to join an existing K3S cluster? I can only find docs that explain that while installing a new node.

I am quite new to Rancher Desktop and trying to get it up and running on my laptop (M1 Pro) but i am still unable to do anything because it didn’t still complete starting backend even though 30 minutes passed since i ran the desktop app. what’s wrong with me?

Hi! Can I and if so, how do I import existing external K3s cluster in the Rancher Desktop->Dashboard? It's easy to do with browser UI when I install rancher separately but I can't find anything like that in the Dashboard offerred by the desktop version

Hello, I can't go back more than 90 days on slack, also I don't know - maybe there was already an answer. But I will write again. I am using Rancher Desktop on OS Windows - using WSL2. I need to disable the CNI flannel. Many materials say how to do it in Linux and Mac (via override.yaml - K3S_EXEC="--flannel-backend=none --disable-network-policy). But little how to do it in OS Windows. I'm circling the Windows provisioning script (*.start). It doesn't work out. The goal - to practice network policy in other CNI. That is, synthetically :) - How to disable flannel CNI in Rancher Desktop running on Windows in WSL2. Greetings By the way, great thing is with Traefk. There is a checkbox. If you want to practice with another Ingress - there you go - turn off Traefik. You want to work with Traefik - turn it on. Cool idea.

Is there a way to add AWS managed k3s nodes in rancher desktop? If I setup develop accounts for all our developers, and we deploy using rancher on our local laptop, is there a way to add a node or two (whenever needed) to AWS? I want to make it easy to deploy our application (helm chart), but sometime it might require a little bit more compute, then what laptops can handle. (Argo workflows, jupyter notebooks etc).

with rancher-desktop when executing docker build commands after executing a few times Rancher desktop locks up. The build just hangs indefinitely. When using docker buildx build ... it always hangs. Is this a known issue and is there a fix. I'm running Rancher-Desktop version 1.7.0
