What’s the preferred way of restoring longhorn backups of hotplug volumes created by provisioning volumes through the harvester csi provider?

Standard HP server gen 9,we run lots of them. Have multiple nics and multiple drives, choosing two standard ethernet ports for install, 500gb ssd for install, and 4tb ssd for vms.

longhorn is already installed into harvester, you can add new host disk from host config interface in ui. you can access (but just for debug mode) to longhorn-harvester ui as mentionned in the harvester docs, not found where we can adjust the number of replicas 😕

@bland-farmer-13503 In Longhorn dashboard, you can find
    Default Replica Count
    in
    Setting > General
page. And you can modify replica count.
    ok got it ! thanks

Do you know how to deploy rancher VM(s) into harvester in order to integrate with harvester ? Do i need to create one vm with docker and run rancher container into it ? Or can we deploy a rancher app/helm into the harvester's integrated kubernetes ?

Having an issue with the Harvester Install from PXE. The install goes pretty far but stalls on Checking 33 images in /var/lib/rke2/agent/images/harvester-images-v1.0.2.txt... I can't find out what it is doing and where to see the progress if it is actually getting images but taking it's sweet time. Any Help?

Hi all! I've been pouring over the documentation, but I've got some questions about best practices for network config in an on-prem, multi-DC environment. I'm trying to get an idea of how many statics I'll need to earmark from our blocks, but I'm unclear on exactly which harvester IPs will need to be public-facing. For example, can the harvester-mgmt networks sit on a private range tucked behind the firewall, or would that mess with ACE when joining clusters in other DC's?

Good morning team! I'm trying to deploy a 4 node cluster and can get all of them to install with the tokens / master URL, but they never actually join the cluster. Each node ends up effectively being in stand alone mode. There are no firewalls / ACLs between them to block network traffic. What would be some good ways to troubleshoot what's going on and why the nodes won't connect? I've confirmed the tokens/URLs in the config are accurate
