I am trying to deploy autoscaler with cloud-provider=rancher. I am following the this repo instructions: https://github.com/kubernetes/autoscaler/tree/master/cluster-autoscaler/cloudprovider/rancher Note sure, where to execute this command: cluster-autoscaler --cloud-provider=rancher --cloud-config=config.yaml It throws error that cluster-autoscaler command is not found/recognized.

Hello, I wanted to set up a cluster and have 2 servers each with a different hoster. I then wanted to connect the 2 to the cluster and only one can be connected the other not. All ports are enabled.

I just installed Rancher onto Rancher desktop on Win10 using nerctl and can access the dashboard page but when I run "nerdctl logs [479119f0bxxx] 2>&1 | grep "Bootstrap Password:"" I get no reply. Same results with "finstr" instead of grep and same results if I query the docker logs. Any ideas on how to get the bootstrap password ?

Hi everyone, We have deployed the Rancher monitoring on our clusters. We have set a dedicated ingress for Grafana and configure azureAD authentication. We have disabled the anonymous logging and so Rancher integration is obviously no more working. I'm trying to find a way to keep the Rancher integration as it is really convenient. Did someone run into the same and able to help? Many thanks in advance.

Hello, Has anyone encountered such a problem that pods replicate indefinitely. Despite setting the replica limit to 1, pods are still being created. I currently have over 300k pods.... In the logs only errors that there is not enough memory. Could it be a problem with the application, because only one pod works like this, in one namespace. 🙂

My Rancher has two System projects after migration från docker to RKE Ha deployment. Anyone has an idea on how to delete one of them? Rancher Application complains about not being able to move namespaces to the System projects because of the duplicate.

A cluster got broken during maintenance, "Updating, waiting for etcd, controlplane and worker nodes to be registered". The cluster works, it is just in a byggy state in Rancher. How can I get it to be fine again? I tried editing the custom resources in the local cluster to represent the current state exactly, nodes was not correct and it said that the control plane had been replaced for a while. Now there are two nodes(All roles), the cluster have a namespace in the local cluster, the global "clusters.management..." object look fine and also the nodes objects in the namespace. The cluster agent is connected the node agent however claims that "Waiting for node to register. Either cluster is not ready for registering, cluster is currently provisioning, or etcd, control-plane and worker node have to be registered" The nodes are "green" and "active". So things works but Rancher fails to acknowledge this. I looked at all resources I could find in the local cluster and in the downstream cluster, updated some node configs which was wrong and now I can not find anything more wrong. I even updated the super shady secret for the cluster in the local cluster which in fact seems to be a set of configs, obfuscated and then put into one mega huge bas64 encoded value. Where is this "clusterIsBrokenDoNotLetNodesConnect" variable which is false but should be true? Thanks!
