Hi, I'm trying to set up prometheus to monitor our rancher-server installation. Everything I can find on google, is only how to monitor the clusters that rancher manages. Where should I look?

Is there any documentation on integrating calico CNI with RKE cluster?

We are using rke2 1.23 & intend to upgrade to rke2 >=1.26. Our question is around the use of self-signed k8s certificates. Is there a procedure in customers environment for doing following: (i) to update/change self-signed k8s certificates to commercial customer provided certificates & keep RKE2 cluster running (ii) to configure RKE2 installation with commercial certificates. Appreciate any suggestions/guidance. THANKS

Hi guys i am trying to deploy a cluster using rancher on a nutanix cluster, it is stuck on waiting for kubernetes. If i ssh into the control plane node and do docker logs, i can see error related to ca_ checksum that it is not there in https://rnc.domain.com/v3/settings/cacerts but if i curl into it the CA is there. Plz how can i solve this issue.

Now I would like to change the hostname of the LB. Where can I change it? What additional steps are involved?

I have a 3 k8s cluster nodes. Two of the nodes show about 60% of mem and pod space used. The third node is at 82% Ram and 97% Pod use and yet the scheduler is still placing pods on that node? Even though it's showing a red overloaded state. Why would that be?

Is anyone aware of any "managed Rancher" offering (as-service) where one brings the Helm-charts to deploy the workload and pay for the usage, get a consumption dashboard, monitoring dashboard etc. If there are more than one such offering, it'd be great to know of the alternatives. i'm trying to deploy a Gitlab operator on an rke2 cluster (single node) but i'm having problem with metrics

i have setup rke with default metric server and kubectl top node works but the HorizontalPodAutoscaler of gitlab cannot reach the metric server

the error is: failed to get cpu utilization: unable to get metrics for resource cpu: no metrics returned from resource metrics API

i fixed a networking problem (iptable missing as an hidden dependency) but it still won't work

can it be an RBAC error_
