Is Rancher 2.7 not yet considered stable? Blog post says it’s GA https://www.suse.com/c/rancher_blog/whats-new-in-rancher-2-7/ but no mention of it in the repo

Hello, I am looking for an answer to the way the Admin can find the user email id of the logged-in users in the Rancher dashboard, when someone login rancher server with either GitHub, google, or another Identity service provider account, I know the option is not there, but what’s the right way to implement it? I want to enhance the user management on another web page so that users can self-serve after login and still Admin has more control and information about the users. Is there a 3rd party tool I can integrate to provide a self-service functionality for rancher users?

Hello, we uses fleet to deploy many helm chart. We have trouble with Keda Helm Chart. When we try to deploy we have this error in fleet "hart requires kubeVersion: >=v1.23.0-0 which is incompatible with Kubernetes v1.20.0" but we are on RKE2 1.24.9 on all our clusters. Anyone have a solution or an explanation (github issue for example)?

Role supported or will changes to it be overwritten when updating Rancher or something? I’ve updated Traefik from v1 to 2 and would like to add create/list/watch of Middlewares to that role, otherwise developers in the proj can’t add their own middlewares

Or how else is Project Member users suppose to manage Middleware, IngressRoute and other non-standard Kubernetes resources? I know i can create my own custom role but if k3s & rancher uses Traefik 2 by default i would assume better RBAC support for it’s API’s 🙂

Hello folks, I have Rancher 2.6.9 and ADFS is setup and working. Have 2-users that can login to the UI with ADFS. I need to change their permission from "Standard User" to "Restricted Admin" So, I go to "Users and Authentication" and search, but search is not able to find either of them. Again, they can login just fine, but I don't see them in "Users and Authentication". Is there a way I can search users (that login with ADFS) via cli?

Hellow Rancher-Users, A quick question. Is it possible to install the rancher-server completely with a single-node setup? Like running the server within a docker-container for testing-purpose? Theoretically, It should be possible single-node clusters are possible. Hence running the rancher-server app on it too, correkt? Has anyone here had luck using UFW to restrict access to kube-apiserver etc. to certain IPs. I add the rules but they get ignored, presumably because the docker iptables rules go through it.

Hello, I'm new in this channel. I've a question about Fleet. What is the best location for the fleet.yaml file in a GitHub repo that contains helm charts and YAML files to be deployed on k8s clusters? In the root directory? It seems that it is impossible to reference YAML files to deploy in the fleet.yaml if they are in an upper directory. Just imagine that your fleet.yaml is located in root/deployment/k8s/fleet.yaml and that your YAML files are in root/some-directory/*.yaml (kustomize approach with overlays). Thanks :-)
