    Hi everyone. I have a problem accessing one of my rancher clusters: the certificate was expired and i ran "rotate all certificates" for the cluster in rancher ui. Everything worked fine. But when i download the kubeconfig from the rancher UI, it still contains the old (expired) certificate. Any idea what i am doing wrong here?

    Hi. I am not sure is it correct channel for question but if not at least I’ll get correct channel I hope. Working with Rancher 2.7 and rancher-monitoring version: 101.0.0+up19.0.3 is installed. Initially when opening pod from list and opening Pod’s metrics tab graphs are empty. But going under deployment and opening metrics under deployments graphs with data are there. Investigated it by myself and discovered if I’ll remove container!=“” filter from grafana under Rancher/Pod (containers) then in Rancher UI under pod metrics data will be produced. When I try do debug in example prometheus query sum(rate(container_cpu_system_seconds_total{container!=“POD”,namespace=~“$namespace”,pod=~“$pod”,container!=“”}[$__rate_interval])) and remove container!=“” it will work. Prometheus query explorer even does not provide in case of container_cpu_system_seconds_total an option to choose container filter.

    Hi, are there any resources on branding the login page? Mainly I want to rename the "Login with $provider" text, but it would be cool to be able to re-brand the whole page. Or is the only way to patch the source code?

Initially everything worked and I still see successfully deployed persistent based workload but all new ones are failing with Below errors. AttachVolume.Attach failed for volume “PVC-xxx”: rpc error: code = NotFound desc= node xxxxx not found Any help/suggestions would be appreciated.

    When you install Rancher via helm, is there an equivalent of setting
    EXP_CLUSTER_RESOURCE_SET=true
    for CAPI? If I want to install additional CAPI providers outside of the Rancher built-in CAPI provider, this needs to be configurable. See related issue for reference: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/cluster-api/issues/5916 (edited)

    I am installing rancher using TF, but receiving the following error with kubelet, all other docker containers seem to be running fine:
    Failed running cluster err:[workerPlane] Failed to bring up Worker Plane: [Failed to verify healthcheck: Failed to check <http://localhost:10248/healthz> for service [kubelet] on host [10.1.14.79]: Get "<http://localhost:10248/healthz>": Unable to access the service on localhost:10248. The service might be still starting up. Error: ssh: rejected: connect failed (Connection refused), log: Error: failed to run Kubelet: unable to determine runtime API version: rpc error: code = Unavailable desc = connection error: desc = "transport: Error while dialing dial unix: missing address"]
    Install is using v1.24.4-rancher of k8s. Any help is much appreciated.

    HI all, I was able to import RKE2 cluster to my Rancher 2.7.0 installed in air-gap env with CATTLE_SYSTEM_CATALOG=bundled variable and I do see Apps for local cluster but I don't see any apps for my newly imported RKE2 cluster. Is it expected and how to fix that?

    Hi, i am trying to upgrade a rancher-managed cluster from k8s 1.20.6 to 1.20.11. Since 2h one of the worker nodes is in cordoned state and cluster state is "updating". Any idea where i can look what the problem might be?

    Did anyone find a fix for this? Deploying Rancher on GKE. Even the default config doesn't work
    googleapi: Error 400: Creation of node pools using node images based on Docker container runtimes is not supported in GKE v1.24+ clusters as Dockershim has been removed in Kubernetes v1.24., badRequest

    Just updated to Rancher 2.7.0 (RK1), oddly new volume claims using the local-storage class stay on Pending now, did somebody stumble upon a similar issue?

    Using rancher 2.7.0 I can't add new global repositories, I can only add local repositories directly in a specific cluster, but not a global one. Is there some bug with this resource? The error showed is attached

    The company I work for uses Rancher and I'm new there. I'm trying to understand how it works and wanted to give it a try to install it "locally"! What is the best option to install it locally? There are various options and but I ended up more confused.

    Not sure if someone can help me. Looks like I am hitting the following bug https://github.com/rancher/rancher/issues/38699 In that it references a script to fix the issue in Rancher support case 00359224. Anyone know where I can get a copy of that fix?
